Holiday weekend project

Post by gwenj »

I had a little time to do some scrapping this weekend--with photos from Mother's Day in Alameda, CA with one of my DS's. He's an out of work architect, but is doing part time work with another architect, and lives with his boss and his family. His boss and wife did a total rehab of a hundred year old Victorian house--they did amazing work.

Wow Gwen! Love it. The house is gorgeous - there's just something really special about older homes. You don't find that quality of workmanship anymore.

Thanks for your nice comments, everyone. The house is lovely... It was built about 100 years ago and had a fire a few years ago, before it was bought by it's current owners. They put a lot of work into making it the beautiful place it is now, including rebuilding parts of the interior. My DS is a tenant there right now.

It's so pretty and the whole layout has such a "Queen Anne" feel to it. You nailed it.
