Spring 2012 ReCreate Update with New Info

I have held 10 rooms and conference room at the Hampton on Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC. Dates are March 23 arrival and March 25, 2012 check out. The conference room is for Saturday only. Breakfast is included. She quoted me a price of $89.00 a few weeks ago and even though they are raising the price after the first of the year she will hold to the $89.00 price.

Friday night we will be doing a crop at Archiver's. Price for that is $5 per person that I have included in the total fee for participation. That $5.00 will be credited to any purchases you may make and the crop is until 11PM Friday night. If you decide to come early on Friday you can crop during the day for free. As many of you know AC Moore and Michaels are also close by. You could walk from the hotel to Michaels.

I will need to have the minimum of 10 rooms booked in order to get the price she quoted for the conference room. No other meals will be included but I will have sodas, water and snacks on hand. You know I usually have cookies that I bring also.

I hope to have a form for you soon to fill out and mail to me with a check for $30.00 to cover all costs (except room & food).

I will be getting the contract from her soon so please let me know again if you are interested and make your reservations as soon as possible after I have the signed contract. It is under ReCreate.

You know I'm interested. I just have to double check the dates with my kids to be sure they're not LARPing that weekend. March should just be a practice for them, though...hopefully.

It is too early for now. The woman has my name and number and once she gets the update calendar she will contact me. I doubt that it will be totally private but once I have the money I am paying the seats ahead for those who have signed up. They have t2o rooms and one room holds 16 not sure about the other room.

Pam I will make reservations for all once I know for sure who is coming. I have included that in the $30 fee.

Wonderful Marianne. I have still not heard back from the Hampton about the contract. I also have a couple of things in mind that I want to run through with Archiver's. I am going to re-contact them again. We may just end up using their space both days if you all want. Less expense that way.

I'm so hoping I can come. Won't know till after all the holidays.
We are suppose to take a cruise but DH hasn't given me the dates to book it
So I'm still up in the air about it.
I have a feeling the hotel will raise the prices but Archivers will or should be OK as long as the dep is paid.
I'll get mine to you as soon as I know if I'm able to come.
