Glass Christmas Oranaments with November ReCreate?

Cheryl and Beki and I were discussing doing a fused glass class/make-and-take this fall, maybe in conjunction with ReCreate. My glass pusher will schedule one just for us at a special price and on the Friday of ReCreate. It takes about 90 minutes and we get to set the start time. The only thing is we have to get 6 people minimum to sign up.

For $30 we get to make two Christmas ornaments. She provides all materials, pre-cut, and fires them. She puts out the bins of cut glass and we pick and choose what we want to use. If we want to include dichroic glass, it's either bring our own or buy it from her -- it runs about $2 sq inch.

Below are some of her samples from last fall. The sparkly green is Aventurine and that is not an up-charge. I LOVE Aventurine!

Can we get six? We could start as early as 10 and still be at New Hope by noon.

She will be doing the ornament classes this fall, so we will have other opportunities.

I want to do that! But I don't think ReCreate is in the cards this year. I'm hoping to make it to SoCal for Christmas, to see my family, and need to save $$ for that. Looks like great fun, though! I expect a full report (and pictures) after the class.
