Your tree?
Your tree?
In the past we've posted photos of our Christmas trees/holiday decorations. I'd love to see your 2015 tree and/or decorations!

Re: Your tree?
This was the only picture I took of our tree - it was taken early on, so not even the calm before the storm. I didn't notice the big light gap until after Christmas.
Re: Your tree?
PamC, love the pinkish cast of your tree. So colorful. Gorgeous hearth too.
PamP...don't see the light gap, just see a beautiful tree with those white lights.
Speaking of light gaps...there's one on our tree too. If you look closely you might see some tags on it! The little Santa tree was in my guest bathroom. Most of those Santas were my mom's collection or gifts to me from her. I think she would approve of my display. And I say was because I took down ALL holiday decorations earlier this week. It must have been the scrumptious coffee Debi sent me but I got on a caffeine induced toot and it's all put away. I must say it feels good to have that chore completed. I enjoyed it while it was up but two weeks was sufficient.
Now tell me...who gets everything put away and then a week (or month/year) later discover what should be an obvious decoration still on display?

Ha! Done that several times. I left my reindeer (goofy things I purchased from the artist at one of the Mountain Heritage Festivals) in my office until July this year. Only reason why they came home was because our HR mgr. was starting to make remarks about them. I should have kept them there just to irk her.

that's so funny Pam....my "leftoutters" were also a reindeer threesome. They were out all of 2015 sitting in a bookshelf that is in the corner of our living room and I'm rarely back there.

Re: Your tree?
We had a small tree, that I placed on a furniture unit
in my living room.
One of my favorite pieces stays on the mantle all
year long but she doesn't look out of place, it's an angel
holding a heart charm
And finally, Oscar, who has approved the tree placement,
he was enthralled with the many lights
I don't take anything down until after January 6th
in my living room.

Re: Your tree?
I love seeing everyones trees! Pam C that looks so very cool, Pam P the lights look great to me, Farley I always have a few things that I don't catch for a while, your tree is gorgeous with all that red & green.
Elizabeth I love the photos of your Christmas, like you I seldom take things down until the 6th of January. I must confess that I have put a bunch of the Santas away already but the trees, snowmen and other goodies will stay up until next week.
Here is the tree in our front room - It really looks a lot better than the photo - I have 8 strings of flashing lights on it but they don't show up in this photo: A small portion of my decorations: Our house

Cheryl, I don't know where you get all of
the energy! I love all of your trees and
snowmen decorations but after getting it all
out I would need to be resusitated. LOL

Elizabeth, I think the same thing! I might actually get all mine put away before The end of the weekend. The weather is so mild, I don't hate the thought of being in the attic.

Re: Your tree?
Elizabeth & Pam I start with all this in October and take my time. I take my time in getting it down and put away also. I usually keep snowmen out much longer than other Christmas stuff. Our attic is beside my craft room and while it does get very cold in the attic I don't spend much time there.
