First card I ever made

Post by julierealtor »

This is fun...I decided in 2006 I was gonna make cards...this is the first one I ever made, 6x6 in all its glory, and I can't believe I'm posting it. My husband saw it and said 'it looks like a 6th grader made it"...but I didn't let that stop me...now where's your first piece of art? C'mon...I know you have it!

I still feel like a rank beginner compared to many of you, especially with the card making.

I don't even think I still have the first card I made. It is amazing how much we "grow" with our hobby.

this isn't the first card I ever made... but it was from when I first started taking stamping classes - oh my have I come a long way! This is really "fancy" - fabric ironed onto freezer paper then cut out with pinking shears  And the little bunnies & stuff are pop-dotted up! Happy Easter everyone!
