Mini cards - book markers
Mini cards - book markers
I found a new little card to make. They are 1 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 long.

Very cute! Do you have to make your own envelopes?

Those are adorable! The sheetload formula I used for birthday cards this month made little cards that were that size, along with a larger card. I thought they would be perfect as inchie cards or as book marks also. As for envies, I doubt I'd send them on their own. I was thinking they'd be really great for gift tags, or to include as a thank you note with a swap.
At first, I was just going to put them in the scrap box, but then thought of all of the other uses. Silly me.

As far as envelopes I guess if you wanted to use one yes you would have to make one. I think if you mailed (if you can mail) something this small it would get lost. I am making them and giving them to friends with out the envelope. They are also a nice little something extra in a card.
I took a 12 x 12 paper cut it at 8 1/2 then folded it in half to make it 4 1/4 x 12 then cut at every 1 1/2 inches Then decorated them. I put magnets inside for a book mark.

I like the vibrant background paper you used for these markers. Awesome job!

Oh Nancie you are just too clever and talented. What a cool idea. Would coin envelopes work?
