a page in my handmade art journal...
a page in my handmade art journal...
I did this photo of granddaughter, Molly as cupid on photofunia a long time ago...my printer was running out of ink and it came out purplish and brown., but i kept it to remind me to go back and do it again....well.....i had this page in my new journal that was done in purple and browns so I used it...I added "metal" wings and heart....isn't she a sweetie?

I also have one of my youngest daughter imposed on the cover of Vogue mag...It's pasted in, but not done yet...need to think on embellies and captions...I think it would be fun to continue this journal in this way...so many things I could do to my family members!!!!!!
Re: a page in my handmade art journal...
I think that's a great idea. My mind is spinning about all of the funky effects I could do in photoshop to use as a major AJ element for some of the signatures. I'm just not sure how many people want pictures of *my* family in *their* art journal.

I just did. There are some really cool effects on there! I think some unsuspecting swap participant may be getting a funky photo of me coming back to them. This just looks too fun.Ruth Ann Landry wrote:but using YOUR photo would make it personal to them....cool idea...have you checked out photofunia????

Check out the sketch option under the photo lab section. It renders a beautiful pencil sketch.

I think it's a great idea--how often do we sit and talk about them. Photos make it even more personal
